Usually today’s slot is filled with all things Top Ten Tuesday but I wanted to change things up a bit. Over the last couple of weeks new anime trailers have dropped and I wanted to share them all with you! Mainly this is a recap for people who might not have seen these trailers pop up on their YouTube feed or (if you’re anything like myself)…for people who work all the god damn time.
I have no life…merp. 😛
Many anime news announcements have been made over the last few months (especially since AnimeExpo was just last month), and these anime studios are pumping out A LOT of new material for us. Otaku’s rejoice! This means new anime series, films, and killer soundtracks. What more could you ask for?! *cough* Season 2 of many shows that haven’t been finished yet *cough*
Hey…a girl can dream you know.
So without taking up too much of your time lets get on with these anime trailers!

A-1 Pictures Nanatsu no Taizai: Imashime no Fukkatsu (The Seven Deadly Sins: Revival of The Commandments)
Airing in January of 2018, the crew from Nanatsu no Taizai (The Seven Deadly Sins) is BACK! This is the sequel to the four part special Nanatsu no Taizai: Signs on Holy War. There isn’t a whole lot of information on this yet but you can check out the official website here: http://www.7-taizai.net/.
Kyoto Animation’s Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!: Take On Me
I personally have not seen Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! (Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions) but I hear it is a great anime. I know a lot of people are getting excited for the movie. I think I just may have to start this one!
The synopsis for Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!: Take On Me is here:
“The movie will feature a new story where Yuuta and Rikka are on their third year of high school. One day in Spring, Touka declares that she will take Rikka to Italy with her, as her job has stabilized there and thinks they should migrate together as a family. Touka is also worried about Rikka not being competent enough to advance to universities in Japan. The gangs from the club suggested Yuuta, who doesn’t want to be separated, to elope with Rikka!! A runaway drama throughout Japan begins.”
Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!: Take On Me will begin airing on January 6th 2018.
Kyoto Animation’s Hibike! Euphonium: Todoketai Melody
And yet another series I haven’t watched! I did watch the first episode of Hibike! Euphonium but didn’t finish the rest for some reason. I think it came out during a time when there was just TOO many anime to watch at one time. The list of anime to watch is never ending in my book.
The synopsis for Hibike! Euphonium: Todoketai Melody is here:
“Following their success in the qualifying round for the Kansai regional competition, the members of the Kitauji High School concert band set their sights on the next upcoming performance. Utilizing their summer break to the utmost, the band participates in a camp where they are instructed by their band advisor Noboru Taki and his friends who make their living as professional musicians.
Kumiko Oumae and her friends remain determined to attain gold at the Kansai competition, but trouble arises when a student who once quit the band shows interest in rejoining and sparks unpleasant memories for the second-year members. Kumiko also learns about her teacher’s surprising past and the motivation behind his desire to lead the band to victory. Reaching nationals will require hard work, and the adamant conviction in each student’s commitment to the band will be put to the test.”
Hibike! Euphonium: Todoketai Melody will begin airing on September 30th, 2017.
Wit Studio’s Mahoutsukai no Yome: Hoshi Matsu Hito (The Ancient Magus Bride)
This trailer has been out for about a month now but I know Mahoutsukai no Yome: Hoshi Matsu Hito (The Ancient Magus Bride) doesn’t get enough credit! The official movie comes after a three part OVA special that was released in September of last year. I highly highly recommend watching the OVA special so you can get a taste of what this anime will be like. It is super duper well done!
The synopsis for Mahoutsukai no Yome: Hoshi Matsu Hito (The Ancient Magus Bride) is here:
“Hatori Chise has lived a life full of neglect and abuse, devoid of anything resembling love. Far from the warmth of family, she has had her share of troubles and pitfalls. Just when all hope seems lost, a fateful encounter awaits her. When a man with the head of a beast, wielding strange powers, obtains her through a slave auction, Chise’s life will never be the same again.”
The theatrical release for Mahoutsukai no Yome: Hoshi Matsu Hito (The Ancient Magus Bride) was on July 26th 2017.
Signal.MD’s Hirune Hime: Shiranai Watashi no Monogatari (Napping Princess)
Hirune Hime: Shiranai Watashi no Monogatari (Napping Princess) was released on March 18th, 2017, but as you all know America doesn’t get new anime films until waaayyy later. The Blu-Ray & DVD release of Hirune Hime: Shiranai Watashi no Monogatari (Napping Princess) is set for September 13th, 2017. You can check out the official website here: http://wwws.warnerbros.co.jp/hirunehime/.
The synopsis for Hirune Hime: Shiranai Watashi no Monogatari (Napping Princess) is here:
“Kokone should be diligently studying for her university entrance exams, but she just can’t seem to stay awake. Aside from stealing precious study time, her napping is even more distracting, as it brings on strange dreams with warring machines that hint at family secrets that have been dormant for years.”
Which of these are you most excited for? Have you seen any of these trailers floating around before or are they all new to you?
I am REAAALLY excited for the new season of Nanatsu no Taizai and the cute little special of Baja no Studio. I am going to see if I can find The Ancient Magus Bride film floating around somewhere. I NEED TO WATCH IT! Like NOW! I wish we could keep up with anime films in America but noooo…we are always several months to a year behind. Booooo…this is why we have the internet.
Thanks for joining me on this journey my pandas! I’ll see you all again very soon ❤
