It is hard voting for only 5! I have MANY MANY anime that I absolutely adore but I know a lot of the other ones I would choose are going to make this list. It is mainly due to popularity. I wanted to pick ones I personally think deserve more credit then they actually receive. If I could pick some more (many more actually) my other choices would be Sailor Moon, Psycho Pass, Re:Zero, Youjo Senki (Saga of Tanya the Evil), Made in Abyss, Princess Principal, GANGSTA!, 91 Days, Re:CREATORS, Gurren Lagann, Selector Infected WIXOSS, Kyoukai no Kanta (Beyond the Boundary), Shigatsu wa kimi no uso (Your Lie in April), Cowboy Bebop, Guilty Crown, Elfen Lied, Natsuyuki Rendezvous, Howl’s Moving Castle, Princess Mononoke, Kimi no Na wa (Your Name), Koe no Katachi (A Silent Voice), and COUNTLESS others. THERE ARE SO MANY DESERVING ANIME! It is going to be tough narrowing it down to a measly 100. But I am SUPER DUPER excited to see what comes up in the following month. SO GO GO GO AND VOTE PLEASE! I have to say that I am not usually an anime person. My brother loves anime. I loved Sailor Moon when I was younger and would love to get back in to it, but I don’t usually watch anime. However, your posts are always entertaining and informative, and you really make me want to give it try. I really enjoy your blog! ❤

Dawww thank you! Do you know Sailor Moon got a reboot called Sailor Moon Crystal? It follows the manga closely and cut out all the “filler” episodes. It is so beautiful and lovely and EVERYTHING! I think you would enjoy it. And if you are kind of interested in maybe giving it a try I can recommend some good beginner anime 🙂

Okay I would recommend One Punch Man, Cowboy Bebop, Ao Haru Ride (Blue Spring Ride), Little Witch Academia (Both Movies first than the series), pretty much any Studio Ghibli film, Romeo X Juliet, xxxHolic, Your Lie in April (you might cry your eyes out), and Nagi no Asukara. Of course there are a million more but I think this would be a good starting point!
