TTT: Top Ten Tuesday-Ten Reasons Why I Fell In L.O.V.E With Nana

Over the short break in-between fall and winter anime season I decided I wanted to watch a series until the new shows started. I was actually making my way through Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai (aka OreImo), but then I decided to start Nana for some odd reason. I knew I wanted to watch Nana awhile back but I never got around to it, until I started it during the week of New Year’s. And once I started it I COULD NOT STOP WATCHING IT! This show sucked me in so hard that all I could think about was Nana. I had it BAD guys, like really really bad.

It was drama, and romance, and hilarious, and emotionally charged, and all I could do was eat it up. Every single episode went by so quick that I finished it in like 3 days. I was LIVING for this anime!!! I couldn’t believe I didn’t watch Nana sooner (I’m still kicking myself for it). I think I might actually have to add this to my anime collection. *Goes to check RightStuf Anime for pricing details* Oh snap! It’s technically out of print on their site. *Goes to check Ebay for any hope* Whew! Some of those options are NOT cheap. *Sobs quietly in corner* Tis okay. I’m sure I’ll find something eventually. We are here to talk about the reasons why I fell in love with Nana anyways, not where I can buy it XD

So let’s get to it! Here are the top ten reasons why I fell in love with Nana! ❤

^I’m a whiney, self loathing, crybaby just like Nana Komatsu. So I relate to her on a realness level.

^I wish I was as cool as Nana Osaki. I admire her sense of collectivity.

^The comedy in Nana was pure gold.

^And so was the drama.

^I loved the fact that Junko and Kyosuke were the so called “parents” of the group.

^All the guys were incredibly hot (even though they basically smoked all the time).

^I REALLY loved Shin and Reira together even though Shin was still a freaking child!

^Nana and Nana’s relationship was beautifully portrayed. It kinda reminds me of my relationship with my best friend.

^The characters were complex, had real human emotions, and were relatable.

^I was really rooting for everyone to be happy together. (Yes, I went and spoiled the last few chapters of the manga so I know what happens).

There you have it! I could make this list longer but then this post wouldn’t be called Top Ten Tuesday, so we will just leave it at that. Has anyone else seen Nana? What are your thoughts, opinions, feelings/emotions of the show or even the manga? Let me know in the comments section below! I would love to talk more about this anime! 😀
