You guys voted and I’m delivering!
Here are my choices for Spring Anime Season! I have another full plate this time around. I swear I always watch a TON of shows each season, (seems to be the case over the last year and a half), but I’m not complaining. I think the last 5 years for anime has really stepped up to the plate. I would much rather watch an engaging and thought out anime than some boring TV show any day….buuuut I do love my trash anime…and I also LIVE for the drama that is reality TV as well XD Stop judging me! I can see it in your beady little eyes. That’s the look of disappointment, but someone’s gotta do it lololz
You guys already know the drill with these type of post but if you’re new here then I’ll give you a little refresher. I basically state the anime I will be watching, leave a synopsis of said anime (usually copied and pasted from My Anime List), and link a trailer to that anime (if there is one…if not I’ll just post a picture). Pretty easy peasy. I am not going to link Boku no Hero Academia season 3, Tokyo Ghoul:re, Shokugeki no Souma: San no Sara – Tootsuki Ressha-hen, or High School DXD HERO because these are all continuing anime series. I will be watching all of these because I have seen all of the previous series and I love them oh so much! We also have leftovers from Winter Season which will be Darling in the FranXX, Nanatsu no Taizai: Imashime no Fukkatsu, and CardCaptor Sakura: Clear Card-hen.
I am, however going to start this list of with Lostorage Conflated WIXOSS (and yes this is a second season of a previous anime). I feel like this anime doesn’t get enough credit. The original Selector Infected WIXOSS is soooo underrated. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND watching the original and first season of Lostorage WIXOSS if you haven’t yet.
1. Lostorage Conflated WIXOSS
(I have to paste the very first season synopsis since Lostorage Conflated WIXOSS doesn’t have any information)
“Things are not always what they seem. This is especially true for Ruuko Kominato, when she receives a deck of cards for the popular card game WIXOSS, only to find a girl trapped inside her LRIG, or avatar card. Upon meeting others in the same situation, Ruuko discovers that she has now become a “Selector,” a player in a special version of WIXOSS where girls can battle each other for a chance to have their deepest desires come true. However, there is a catch. In contrast to the glory that awaits them after their victories, there is a cruel fate: if they lose three times, their lives will be destroyed.
In an ominous game filled with lies and deceit, Ruuko and her newfound friends must uncover the secrets behind WIXOSS and realize what is truly most important to them before it is too late.”
2. Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online
“The story follows Karen Kohiruimaki, a 183-centimeter-tall (6-foot-tall) college student who’s insecure about her height, and is bad at dealing with people in the real world. She enters the world of Gun Gale Online with her avatar, Ren, who is less than 150 centimeters (5 feet) tall and wears all pink. She meets a beautiful, brown-skinned female player who goes by Pitohui. They hit it off, but one day Pitohui pressures her to participate in “Squad Jam,” a team battle royale variation of the Bullet of Bullets tournament.”
3. Persona 5 The Animation
There isn’t really a synopsis due to this anime being adapted from the video game Persona 5.
4. Wotaku ni Koi wa Muzukashii

But Sugimoto is not the only interested party, and everyone who knows about the gold will kill to possess it! Faced with the harsh conditions of the northern wilderness, ruthless criminals and rogue Japanese soldiers, Sugimoto will need all his skills and luck—and the help of an Ainu girl named Asirpa—to survive.”
6. Devil’s Line

As Anzai continues to keep guard over Tsukasa, the two quickly forge a tentative bond—one that Anzai fears will test his iron-clad rule of never drinking human blood…”
“The Caligula Effect is set in a virtual reality program known as “Mobius”, created so people can escape pain in their lives and live in an idyllic high school setting, forced to live out their 3 years Indefinitely. The main protagonist is one of a group who realize that they are in a virtual world, and form the “Go-Home Club”, a group dedicated to escaping from Mobius and its god-like overseer program, a vocal program called “μ”. They oppose the “Ostinato Musicians”, a group who supports μ and sees the Go-Home Club as traitors.”
8. Mahou Shoujo Site
“Asagiri Aya is a young girl who has fallen victim to bullies at her school. Looking for a way to escape her troubles, she looks to the internet for distraction, when a mysterious website called “Magical Girl Site” appears. Simply viewing the page is all it takes to hurtle Aya headlong into the deadly world of the Magical Girl Apocalypse. There, it’s fight or die, against a seemingly endless array of savagely adorable, frilly-skirted killing machines, each armed with magical powers and an unquenchable thirst for blood and chaos.”
9. Tada-kun wa Koi wo Shinai

10. Piano no Mori

On one hand you have Kai, born as the son of a prostitute, who’s been playing the abandoned piano in the forest near his home ever since he was young. And on the other you have Shuuhei, practically breast-fed by the piano as the son of a family of prestigious pianists. 12. Juushinki Pandora
“In the year 2031, an experimental energy device known as the “Quantum Reactor” is created to help alleviate the problems stemming from Earth’s dwindling fossil fuel reserves. Unfortunately, the “Quantum Reactor” goes out of control, exploding and bathing the world with unknown energies in an incident known as the “Shouryuu Crisis”. As a result of the catastrophic environmental changes that follow, humanity is pushed to the brink of extinction, and strange new organisms – part organic, part mechanical – known as the “B.R.A.I.” emerge.
Seven years later, Leon Lau – one of the scientists at the center of the “Shouryuu Crisis”, is living in the wilderness near Neo Shouryou, one of the last remaining human cities. Leon has entered into a “family contract” with Chloe Lau, and together the two of them research their own methods of combatting the B.R.A.I. threat.”
13. Kakuriyo no Yadomeshi

He says that due to her grandfather’s debts, she must become his bride. Aoi hates this idea and instead declares that she will pay back her grandfather’s debt by working at the Tenshinya.”
14. Uma Musume Pretty Derby

Appearing before the bewildered young girl was the “Imperial Library Intelligence Asset Management Bureau”- more commonly referred to as “Fukurou”.
According to these men, there exists “Maremono”, which are books that greatly affects its readers. On top of that, ever since the incident involving the girl’s younger brother, she unwittingly gains the ability to see “Auras” (the sentiments of the Maremono which manifest as bright lights and are usually invisible to humans). It was as though fate were trying to drag the young girl in its flames.
And then, even though apprehensive, the girl chooses to venture outside her bird cage.
Jealousy, hatred, scorn, compassion and love. What awaited the girl was the darkness of betrayal that had already begun to bewitchingly inlay the imperial capital.
Toyed by and swayed within that darkness, will the young girl finally reach the truth after her struggles, or…?”
16. Butlers ~Chitose Momotose Monogatari~
“Koma Jinguji (Jay) is the smart and handsome student council president. His elegant smile captures the hearts of women. Tsubasa Hayakawa is a multi-talented and gentle shop assistant at a café.
