TTT: Top Ten Tuesday-You Make My Heart Go Doki Doki Underneath The Hanabi

I know we all have our favorite moments in anime; from the confession, to the first kiss, to even the rejection of our most beloved characters…there is no doubt that there are TONS of memorable moments in anime. Emotional scenes tend to spark a number of memorable moments for me, but some of my personal favorable anime scenes all happen during the “so called” festival episode. You know…where the main character tends to confess their feelings or go in for that first daring opportunity of holding hands or even I dare say…first kiss. Eep! Yup, that’s the one.

Firework scenes in anime don’t get the love they deserve…which they should…because they’re usually well done and build the tension perfectly. I’m always on the edge of my seat when a festival episode/firework scene happens in a series. You can usually guess what is going to happen, but the thrill of it all makes it worth while. For this weeks Top Ten Tuesday I wanted to bring you guys my favorite firework scenes in anime! I want to make your hearts go doki doki…cause sometimes you just need some lovey-dovey bullshit in your life. (I apologize in advance that some of these gif’s don’t show the actual firework scene. I couldn’t find all of them when I searched around).

1. Gekkan Shoujo Nozaki-kun

^One of THE BEST miscommunication scenes in anime. Secretly, I think Nozaki actually knew what Sakura said XD

2. Plastic Memories

^Isla’s reaction after Tsukasa’s confession is PURE GOLD.

3. Glasslip

^Because no one else seems to like this anime besides me lololz

4. Fireworks Should We See Them From the Side or The Bottom?

^Another really obscure movie that contains a great fireworks scene.

5. Dagashi Kashi Season 2

^Hotaru is a firework 😉

6. Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day

^Even though this wasn’t traditional fireworks this scene was still amazing none the less!

7. A Silent Voice

^If this scene doesn’t give you chills are you even a real anime fan???

8. Kaichou wa Maid-sama!

^Cause kisses are EVERYTHING…Duh.

9. Barakamon

^Naru is infinitely adorable.

10. Nana

^A bittersweet ending to an PHENOMENAL anime series. ❤

That’s gonna do it for this weeks Top Ten Tuesday. What did you guys think of my picks? What are some of your favorite firework scenes in anime? Let me know all of your thoughts, comments, and feelings down below! As always, thank you for joining me and your continued support. Love you my pandas 🙂

  1. Some great anime and scenes here. I really love fireworks and it is one of the staples of most anime that I don’t find tiresome, unlike the endless number of baseball games and beach episodes. Thanks for sharing your list.
