TTT: Top Ten Tuesday-Sharkbait, Ooh Ha Ha! Oh wait…That’s not right.

I almost thought this was Finding Nemo for a second. I am back with another Top Ten Tuesday for you my pandas! This one is a little unorthodox considering it’s all about anime characters that have shark teeth…I mean sharp teeth. Eh, either one works. I’m always trying to come up with new post that showcase lesser known anime characters because no one likes seeing the same shit over and over again. Being creative is hard sometimes! Hopefully you guys are bored of these posts yet XD

Side note…I feel like anime characters with pointy teeth are starting to pop up more and more in shows. Anyone else feel this way? Guess there is a trend for everything and anything these days. At first I didn’t know what to make of characters that had sharp teeth, I thought it was quite odd, but after seeing a few more characters in shows they have grown on me. I still think having sharp teeth on characters is impractical…but we will just roll with it.

Side side note…Does anyone else remember Chip Skylark singing My Shiny Teeth and Me in Fairly OddParents? Man…that tune was catchy as fuck.

*MY SHINY TEETH THAT TWINKLE
JUST LIKE THE STARS IN SPACE
MY SHINY TEETH THAT SPARKLE
ADDING BEAUTY TO MY FAAACCCEEE….okay I’ll shut up now…*

Just get to the damn list Ayano! Yeah, yeah…I get off track when I think about other things. Sometimes I just go off on a tangent and never come back to my original story or thought. I do this quite often with my friends and then we have to make our way back to what we first started talking about. It’s a curse lololz

Hopefully we get to see more of these characters in up-coming anime. I’m always down for a little nibbling now and again…tehehe. That does it for me tonight! I will see you guys very soon. Night night!

  1. Great list and great images. Do you happen to know why so many characters have these sort of teeth? I’ve been trying to figure it out for awhile and have never come to any kind of conclusion.

    1. Hmmm…I just tried seeing if anyone had any ideas through a google search and most answers seems to be that characters who have sharp teeth tend to give off a more serious or aggressive persona. Other times it is just there for aesthetic purposes.

        1. I’m sure the symbolism is Freudian. 😸 But seriously, there are a number of anime that throw an odd surreal or cartoony character into an otherwise more realistic setting. This is a part of anime aesthetics I’d like to understand better.

  2. I want to say Kisame Hashigaki from Naruto, but does he count? His gimmick is literally that he’s a shark-man, so is that too obvious?
