Yeah…you guys saw what I did there with the title 😛
We are FINALLY making our way to fall anime season. Some of the summer anime series are starting to wrap up, so I thought today would be the perfect day to look at the upcoming shows for fall. Summer season was pretty alright for the most part. I found a few hidden gems amongst the rubble, but we all know how stacked fall season is going to be! #Mybodyisready
Fall is just around to corner (the first official day is this Saturday), but I know some of you guys are still experiencing some H.E.A.T. Oregon’s weather is bi-polar most of the time. It will be warm and sunny one minute, then cloudy and raining the next. It’s like a never-ending cycle of on again, off again. I guess you could consider Oregon to be like a woman lololz
With that being said let’s get into what today’s post will consist of! Today’s post will give you guys an insight look into what I’ll be watching for fall season. This list will primarily be new shows and will not include the ones that are follow up seasons. I will automatically be watching Sword Art Online: Alicization, Golden Kamuy Season 2, and Tokyo Ghoul:re Second Course with leftovers of Banana Fish, Attack on Titan, and Angels of Death (although this one will end at 16 episodes). If you have seen my previous post on upcoming anime series then you already know how today’s post will work. If you are new to my blog then you better sit back and enjoy the ride. Today’s post will consist of me stating the title of the anime, a preview trailer, and a synopsis underneath. That’s it! Let’s just jump right on into these titles!
1. Dakaretai Otoko 1-i ni Odosarete Imasu.
Anime synopsis:
“Saijou Takato’s 5 year reign as the ‘Most Huggable No. 1’ has been snatched. Stealing his thunder is the newbie actor with a 3-year debut, Azumaya! Towards the stuffy hostile Takato, Azumaya’s sincere sparkling smile starts to become effective. Even as Takato sets his alert level on MAX, Azumaya catches Takato in his shameful drunken state and uses it to blackmail him!”
2. Irozuku Sekai no Ashita kara
Anime synopsis:
“Set in the city of Nagasaki, the story takes place in a world where a miniscule amount of magic remains in everyday life. Hitomi Tsukishiro is a 17-year-old descendant of a witch family who grew up with stale emotions, as she lost her sense of color at a very young age. Feeling sorry for her granddaughter’s future, Kohaku, a great witch, sends Hitomi to past, the year 2018. Through exchanges with her 17-year-old grandmother and her club members, the story follows Hitomi’s growth as a person.”
3. SSSS.Gridman
Anime synopsis:
“Yuta Hibiki awakens with amnesia and the ability see things that others cannot. He first encounters a Gridman in the reflection of his friend Rikka Takarada’s computer and it tells him to “Remember his calling,” but Yuta doesn’t understand what this means. Later, in the distance, he sees an extremely large monster but it doesn’t move. It’s only when Yuta gets to school that the two sightings make sense: a monster attacks and the hero Yuta saw in the computer screen pulls him within the computer and transforms Yuta into a giant hero named Gridman.”
4. Goblin Slayer
Anime synopsis:
“A young priestess has formed her first adventuring party, but almost immediately they find themselves in distress. It’s the Goblin Slayer who comes to their rescue—a man who’s dedicated his life to the extermination of all goblins, by any means necessary. And when rumors of his feats begin to circulate, there’s no telling who might come calling next…”
5. Tonari no Kyuuketsuki-san
Anime synopsis:
“The modern-day vampire comedy centers on high school girl Amano, who was saved from a strange incident by a vampire girl named Sophie Twilight, and has been interested in her ever since. Akari arrives at her house uninvited and the two start to live together. Although a vampire, Sophie never attacks humans, but purchases blood and anime goods via mail and lives a modern life.”
6. Tsurune: Kazemai Koukou Kyuudou-bu
Anime synopsis:
“The story follows Minato Narumiya. Minato played Japanese archery in middle school, but after a certain incident, he ran away from the sport. In high school, Minato meets new friends, and together as part of their school’s archery club they aim to win the prefectural tournament.”
7. Yagate Kimi ni Naru
Anime synopsis:
“Yuu has always loved shoujo manga and awaits the day she gets a love confession that sends her heart aflutter with bubbles and blushes, and yet when a junior high classmate confesses his feelings to her…she feels nothing. Disappointed and confused, Yuu enters high school still unsure how to respond. That’s when Yuu sees the beautiful student council president Nanami turn down a suitor with such maturity that she’s inspired to ask her for help. But when the next person to confess to Yuu is Nanami herself. Has her shoujo romance finally begun?”
8. Hinomaru-Zumou
Anime synopsis:
“It is a divine ritual, a martial art, a combat sport—it’s sumo!!
A “small” new student, Ushio Hinomaru, appears before the weak little sumo club of Oodachi High School! The words “big” and “heavy” are the rules to this sport, which does not fit this newbie any inch, but this guy goes and does what…?! Ushio and the small sumo club climbs its way to the top!
The goal is Hinoshita Kaisan! (a title for the highest rank in professional sumo, equivalent of Yokozuna)
A fired up high school sumo tale—no retakes allowed!!”
9. Seishun Buta Yarou wa Bunny Girl-senpai no Yume wo Minai
Anime synopsis:
“Puberty Syndrome—a rumored, mysterious syndrome that only affects those in their puberty. For example, a bunny girl suddenly appeared in front of Sakuta Azusagawa. The bunny girl’s real identity is Mai Sakurajima, a teenage celebrity who is currently an inactive high school senior. For some reason, her charming figure does not reflect in the eyes of others. In the course of revealing the mystery behind this phenomenon, Sakuta begins to explore his feelings towards Mai. Set in a city where the skies and seas shine, Sakuta unfolds the meaning behind his bizarre encounters on women with the said syndrome.”
10. Kaze ga Tsuyoku Fuiteiru
Anime synopsis:
“Kakeru, a former elite runner at high school, is chased for stealing food. He is saved by a Kansei University student Haiji, who is also a runner. Haiji persuades Kakeru to live in the old apartment “Chikuseisou” where he plans to team up with fellow residents to enter Hakone Ekiden Marathon, one of the most prominent university races in Japan. Kakeru soon finds out that all of the residents except for Haiji and himself are complete novices.”
Anime I want to watch but I’m still unsure about:
Ingress
Anime synopsis:
“This world around you is not what it seems. Our future is at stake, and you must choose a side. A mysterious energy has been unearthed by a team of scientists in Europe. The origin and purpose of this force is unknown, but some researchers believe it is influencing the way we think. We must control it or it will control us. “The Enlightened” seek to embrace the power that this energy may bestow upon us. “The Resistance” struggle to defend, and protect what’s left of our humanity.”
Karakuri Circus
Anime synopsis:
“The protagonist, Masaru, has just inherited a big fortune after the death of his father. However, people are trying to get their hands on it by any means necessary, even if it means killing him. Narumi helped Masaru to avoid being kidnapped after fighting some weird guys. He found out that they’re not humans but wooden puppets with amazing strength. After a hard fight, Narumi was forced to admit that he’s no opponent for them, and just when he started to think that Masaru would be captured, Shirogane, Masaru’s watcher, arrives from France with a weapon, the puppet Arlequin.”
Beelzebub-jou no Okinimesu mama
Anime synopsis:
“Murin’s lands his dream job with the demon king he’s always held in awe, but when his tenure begins, it turns out the demon king isn’t quite what he expected…”
And there you have it my pandas! I’m trying to not overdo it this time around. I tend to load up my plate and then I end up dropping quite a bit of anime halfway through each series. Thus the “I’ll come back to it” cycle begins and then I never really go back to it XD Yeah…that seems to be a big issue of mine this year. It was really bad this summer. Probably due to the fact that I got bored pretty easily this summer season and I don’t know why! It’s not like I absolutely hated any of the shows I was watching…I guess I just felt like there we other shows that grabbed my attention more. Anyways, what will you guys be watching for fall season? Any shows you are DYING to get to first? Let me know in the comments section below! ❤

Summer season was my favourite in a long time, not really hyped for any of the shows in Fall though. (Despite the fact I’ve chosen to watch 21 of them). Hopefully I’ll find some shows I loved as much as the ones this season but I’m not holding my breath.

Wow I am shocked! Most everyone else found summer season to be meh. I thought it was fun but I found myself pretty bored some of the time…and that doesn’t happen often for me. I’m excited for fall season, although I don’t want some of the summer shows to end either! It’s definitely been a roller-coaster of a season for me XD

Well, I usually pick the shows after a week or so. Am always looking at everyone’s blogs to see first impressions and what everyone is watching for the most, and then I usually decide. Gotta say that Irozuku Sekai no Ashita kara’s premise sounds the most interesting to me right now from the shows listed here. Well, definitely looking forward to what is in store for us the coming season! Happy watching 😊😊

I’m pretty excited this time around. I’m hoping this seasons shows are a bit more consistent and keep my interest. I hate having to put shows on hold or drop them, because Mama didn’t raise a quitter! Lol XD

Haha😂😂 Well, I never would think of you as a quitter in the first place lol! 😊😊
But I know what you mean. The shows this season were a bit lackluster, and I do think that the new upcoming season has quite a number of promising titles in it! Fingers crossed! 😊

I’m pretty excited about this season. I’m also looking forward to the archery one since I’ve seen references to it in anime but I think it will be fun to learn more about the rules.
