TTT: Top Ten Tuesday-“A Year in Review” My Favorite Ending Songs From 2018

We’ve made it to the end guys! Well…to my favorite anime ending songs for 2018. I guess you could also consider this the end of the year since it is December. Close enough am I right?! 😉 Last week I posted my favorite anime opening songs for 2018. This post is going to follow the same format as my previous one. These songs will be in no particular order and the honorable mentions list will be large once again due to the fact that we are covering the entire year. Soooo if you guys don’t mind me keeping this short and sweet let’s get into these anime ending songs!


1. “Ref:rain” from After the Rain

^Nothing can top this ending song for me this year. NOTHING!


2. “Michishirube” from Violet Evergarden

^Gotta love those gut-wrenching bittersweet endings.


3. “Unbreakable Love” from Devil’s Line

^This song is so sensual…I can’t even handle it *insert blushing face here*


4. “Kakatte Koi yo” from Megalo Box

^Such a killer song and music video to jam out to!


5. “Sajou no Hana” from Sirius the Jaeger

^Probably my second favorite ending song of the year right behind Ref:rain.


6. “Pray” from Angels of Death

^I really appreciate how hauntingly beautiful this song is.


7. “Mimei no Kimi to Hakumei no Mahou” from Irozuku: The World in Colors

^I guess 2018 was just the year of powerful bittersweet ballads.


8. “Marionette” from Karakuri Circus

^This song is lit af and this show is HIGHLY underrated!


9. “Reset” from Run With the Wind

^Yaaasss…give me all the feels!


10. “Prayer X” and “Red” from Banana Fish

^I’m not crying, you’re crying 😥

  1. There is some truly stunning music found in anime. Makes for some very rewarding blogs. “After the Rain” was powerful. “Michishirube” catches the simple and unsophisticated yearning of “Violet Evergarden” perfectly. I think I’d have put it at number one but that’s just personal taste.
