TTT: Top Ten Tuesday-Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow.

Yes, I know it isn’t Christmas anymore. And no, I don’t need a reminder that my title is also a Christmas song XD

I felt like the title was fitting today due to the fact that (most) of America is currently in a polar vortex. Oregon thankfully has only had a minimal amount of snow and where I live has been pretty clear of harsh/icy weather. I am super jealous of everyone else around the world right now though! Some of you guys are experiencing warmer weather due to it being summer where you live. Send some of that sunshine my way please! I wanted to make today’s Top Ten Tuesday all about snowy scenes in anime. These aren’t necessarily all my favorite moments, but rather just ones I enjoy thinking about from time to time.

I would like to share a really beautiful video with you guys. This is The Oregonian’s video of snow on the coast of Seaside Oregon. Snow doesn’t reach the coast very often, but when it does it is simply STUNNING! I wish this video was longer than 27 seconds. It would have been great to see a full 360 degrees of the coast. But at least I am able to share this with you all.

Let’s get to these snowy moments in anime before we all freeze to death! So maybe grab a blanket, some tea or coffee or hot chocolate, and some fuzzy socks before we dive into today’s list. I’ll wait.
Ready?! Okay! Here we go. (P.S. I’m sorry not all the gif sizes will be the same. I try to make sure they are all exactly the same size but this time it didn’t quite work out that way).

1. Phos VS Snow in Land of the Lustrous

^Phos trying to navigate winter in Land of the Lustrous is one of my favorite moments in the entire series.

2. A hug and a kiss in 5 Centimeters Per Second

^We all know this was the only good/worthwhile moment in 5 Centimeters Per Second. It all went downhill after this.

3. A frolic through the snow in Wolf Children

^This moment always makes my heart melt ❤

4. Mirai being a bad ass in Beyond the Boundary

^All of the snow scenes in Beyond the Boundary are legit perfection.

5. An angel from the sky in Violet Evergarden

^Speaking of bad asses…we can’t forget Violet in episode 12 where she comes down from the sky to kick some ass in the snow by herself!

6. Traveling through the snow in Mushi-Shi

^I wonder how many snowy seasons Ginko has seen in his travels?

7. Sugimoto and Shiraishi trying to get warm in Golden Kamuy

^I forgot how freaking HILARIOUS this scene was XD

8. Blizzard warning in Re:Zero

^Puck’s true form must be ungodly terrifying.

9. Sea Snow in Nagi no Asukara

^I find it rather intriguing that they got so called “snow” in the ocean in Nagi no Asukara. That’s anime logic for you!

10. A wondrous sight in Erased

^Definitely one of the best moments in Erased. How can you not love a snowy backdrop against a starry rainbow sky?!

Did you guys make it to the end of this list without dying of hypothermia? You did?! Yay! Thank you all for joining me this Tuesday. I’m glad I was able to get another post out for you all. Like I said in my previous post I am trying to get back into writing more post as soon as possible. I miss writing and chatting with you guys and reading what everyone else has been up to. I hope everyone is staying warm (if you are dealing with the winter temperatures) or staying cool if it is summer time in your region. That is going to do it for me tonight! I will see you all in my next blog. 😀
