Gym leaders Peko and Neko have challenged you to a fight!
Which Pokemon will you us to battle them? Down below are Peko and Neko’s Pokemon team. Read through each one carefully before heading into battle. May the best trainer win!
Team Peko
Pokemon on hand:
Pangoro
“Although it possesses a violent temperament, it won’t put up with bullying. It uses the leaf in its mouth to sense the movements of its enemies.”
Altaria
“Altaria dances and wheels through the sky among billowing, cotton-like clouds. By singing melodies in its crystal-clear voice, this Pokémon makes its listeners experience dreamy wonderment.”
Leafeon
“When you see Leafeon asleep in a patch of sunshine, you’ll know it is using photosynthesis to produce clean air.”
Chandelure
“Being consumed in Chandelure’s flame burns up the spirit, leaving the body behind.”
Luxray
“When its eyes gleam gold, it can spot hiding prey—even those taking shelter behind a wall.”
Lapras
“People have driven Lapras almost to the point of extinction. In the evenings, this Pokémon is said to sing plaintively as it seeks what few others of its kind still remain.”
Team Neko
Pokemon on hand:
Liepard
“Their beautiful form comes from the muscles they have developed. They run silently in the night.”
Swanna
“Despite their elegant appearance, they can flap their wings strongly and fly for thousands of miles.”
Sylveon
“It sends a soothing aura from its ribbonlike feelers to calm fights.”
Ursaring
“In the forests inhabited by Ursaring, it is said that there are many streams and towering trees where they gather food. This Pokémon walks through its forest gathering food every day.”
Delphox
“It gazes into the flame at the tip of its branch to achieve a focused state, which allows it to see into the future.”
Virizion
“Its head sprouts horns as sharp as blades. Using whirlwind-like movements, it confounds and swiftly cuts opponents.”
Do you have what it takes to become a Pokemon master?! Battle Peko and Neko to find out! If you beat them both you will receive your Mind Badge and a chance to move on to Sootopolis City to receive your Rain Badge from Gym Leader Wallace. Good luck Pokemon trainer. You’re gonna need it! 😉

I tried going through for my own team and could only get three pokemon…
Feraligatr (my favorite pokemon of all time)
Espeon
Lugia–AND LUGIA’S SONG IN POKEMON 2000 IS FUCKING FANTASTIC!!
I know, I know, all generation 2 pokemans, but I stopped playing after they did the remakes Fire Red and Leaf Green. I really should have kept playing and keeping up with it hahaha.

I stopped playing after Ruby and Sapphire lol I had to look up the newer generations to make Peko and Neko’s teams. Think they are pretty solid if I do say so myself 🙂

This is an interesting idea, the only reason why I will not take part is because I know the weaknesses of all those pokemon just by looking at them. Careful, Peko team have a double weakness against flight type(Pangoro and Leafeon) , so make sure to switch to Lapras (if it know any ice attack) or Luxray.
The strongest team of the two is probably Neko team with Sylveon… since they are weak against pokemon type people doesn’t tend to add to their team (steel and poison type).

Haha I mean it’s pretty easy to figure out each Pokemon’s weakness if you’ve been playing Pokemon since it came out. This was mainly just a fun post to write! Wanted to do something for Sunday and this was what I came up with.
