Saturday Suggestions with Tsu: Melty Magical Girls

Sorry for not posting last week. I was out of state. I’ll try my best not to miss many Saturday uploads this year. So what weird, abstract, non popular, thing I’m talking about today. And yeah, sorry I don’t talk about all the cool anime and manga people like. I like weird shit or non popular things. I will try to make more fun anime posts. Brynhildr in the Darkness

Today I am talking about Gokukoku no Brynhildr aka Brynhildr in the Darkness. Written by Okamoto Lynn who did Elfen Lied and Parallel Paradise. And yeah it’s a dark anime. But also had some good comedy moments. And if you follow me on twitter, you would know that I’ve been giving it good praise.

SPOILERS ahead

So what’s it about. Well as a child Ryouta Murakami had a friend named Kuroneko. She believed that aliens exists and wanted to prove that to Ryouta. Sadly when she tries to show him proof. They both fall off a dam and she dies. Well ten years pass and Ryouta is in the Astronomy club, and the only one in it, he wants to join NASA and prove that aliens exist to make Kuroneko right. But a new transfer student shows up to his class. Her name is Kuroha Neko. And she looks awfully like Kuroneko. He creeps her out and embarrasses himself in front of the class. Well you find out that she has magical powers and that she is trying to prevent deaths of people. And she has to take medicine or else she will melt and die. Okamoto Lynn likes melting waifus I noticed. Elfen Lied and Parallel Paradise has waifus melting as well.

I don’t want to spoil more, but the anime is actually pretty good. I know that the anime isn’t the complete story. You’ll have to read the manga, sadly. But I highly recommend it. And the characters are actually fun and great. All girls are best girls in this series. And there is nudity in this series, so be warned.

Thanks for reading and I hope you have a great day today.

Next week will be about what anime I’m watching for this season.
