I mean…don’t we all wanna do bad things for fun? I know I did my fair share of bad things when I was younger. As Aly & AJ’s new song “Church” (which everyone should stop and go listen to RIGHT MEOW) implies “I do bad things for the sake of good times.” If that isn’t every teenagers mantra growing up then I don’t know what else is! Sometimes you just gotta break the rules and have some fun now and again…but don’t do anything illegal my pandas! Nope. This is not that type of site. We are here to promote good, whole-sum fun 😀

And in the spirit of whole-sum fun…today’s Top Ten Tuesday is all about anime girl’s who like to stir the pot, have some fun, while maybe also killing some people along the way in order to do so. YUP! GOOD WHOLE-SUM F.U.N!

Ahhh…good ol’ Spongebob coming through in the clutch. Also the FUN song is catchy af and gets stuck in my head all the time. Anyone else have this problem? Just me? Okay. Let’s stop with the chitchat and get to some ladies! Cause I know y’all didn’t come here for me to talk about Spongebob or how F is for friends who do stuff together. U is for You and Me. N is for anywhere and anytime at all down here in the deep blue sea! You can thank me later 😉

1. Akane from SSSS.Gridman

^I really didn’t connect with Akane until later in the season. After SSSS.Gridman was over I was like, “Akane is THAT BITCH.” Now I adore her ❤

2. Magane from Re:Creators

^Is this really a surprise to anyone anymore? Y’all know how much I love Magane…but she really does have the perfect personality for this list.

3. Banba from Riddle Story of Devil

^Banba is always looking for a good time.

4. Shiro from Deadman Wonderland

^Does Shiro get to have twice the fun since she has twice the personalities? 🤔

5. Kirari from Kakegurui

^We love a hands on Prez who has an obsession with gambling & maaaybe Yumeko XD

6. Aligura from Blood Blockade Battlefront

^Can’t forget about Aligura and her off-the-wall personality!

7. Krul from Seraph of the End

^Cute and sassy and would have no problem kicking my ass if it came down to it.

8. Eto from Tokyo Ghoul

^Mother Monster.

9. Nona from Death Parade

^Nona needs more love. So does Death Parade as a series in general!

10. Jessie from Pokemon

^One of the OG bad girls.

That is going to do it for me today my pandas! Thank you for joining me once again this lovely Tuesday afternoon (well…it’s still afternoon where I live). I hope you guys enjoyed today’s list cause I sure as hell did! What other Top Ten Tuesday list would you like to see me create? I am always open to new ideas from all of you. If you have any good ideas drop them down in the comments section below! Remember to always stay kawaii and cuddly my pandas. MUAH! XOXO

Wait…it’s March already?

I swear it was February just yesterday! I guess it doesn’t help that February is only 28 days long. Welp…it is indeed the month of March my pandas. Man! Now I feel bad considering I didn’t write that much content last month. I guess my personal life is starting to creep into my blogging life. As I stated in a few of my previous blogs I am cutting back on pushing out content. I have a full time job, I’m working on finishing my Bachelor’s degree, and also trying to balance my personal life all at once. It gets pretty hectic sometimes! I’m sure all of you guys can relate in some form or another. But I am here! I’m mainly over on Twitter these days, chatting it up with you all, and trying to come up with new ideas to jot down and present to you guys (when I get around to it XD).

If you didn’t know March is Women’s History Month. Women’s History Month is an annual declared month that highlights the contributions of women to events in history and contemporary society. It is celebrated during March in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia corresponding with International Women’s Day on March 8. In the United States, Women’s History Month traces its beginnings back to the first International Women’s Day in 1911. (You guys can thank Wikipedia for the brief history lesson) 😛

Today’s Top Ten Tuesday will pay homage to strong, kick ass women in anime. We gotta show some love and celebrate all the killer female leads that have graced our presence over the last decade or so…because anime wouldn’t be the same without them. Buckle up kiddos! It’s about to be a bumpy ride.

1. Mauve from ACCA

^Beauty, brains, and a master manipulator. Mauve is one lady who doesn’t mess around.

2. Koko from Jormungand

^Koko might act like a goofball a lot of the time but we all know deep down she’ll kill you without hesitation.

3. Irisdina from Schwarzesmarken

^We love an exemplary leader willing to lay her life on the line for her team.

4. Rory from GATE

^I mean…Rory is literally the Goddess of darkness, war, violence and death.

5. Ozen from Made in Abyss

^Ozen is the definition of sheer power and terror.

6. Altair from Re:Creators

^Just a girl simply seeking revenge for her creator.

7. Crusch from Re:Zero

^A lady destined to stand above all others.

8. Eto from Tokyo Ghoul

^My Queen of Queens.

9. Mumei from Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress

^You mess with the Mumei you get the horns.

10. Saya from Blood C

^Saya kills her own kind…if that doesn’t sound like a crazy badass then I don’t know what is.

Who are some of your favorite tough/strong-willed ladies? Did any of them make my list today? I wanted to feature some women you don’t see in the spotlight too often. It’s nice to have a mix of characters when I write these list. I also hate seeing the same characters talked about over and over again. I try to shake things up when I can! Thank you guys for joining me this Tuesday! Your continued patronage means the world to me ❤ I will catch you all in my next post. Until then have a good morning, day, or evening wherever you are! 😀

We are in the final two days of October. Yes my pandas, tomorrow is Halloween! I am super excited to bust out my cosplay and hit the town. It’s going to be ghoulishly delightful. Does anyone else have plans this Halloween? I wanted to go out Saturday evening but my boyfriend and I decided to stay home and watch As Above So Below. Tis a good psychological scary movie to watch if you haven’t seen it yet.

I am sad to see October go (considering I’m a Grinch when it comes to the rest of the year). Christmas just isn’t my thang if you know what I’m saying 🤷‍♀️ I do like doing festive activities and what not, I just don’t like Christmas. That’s probably because I’m not religious and I hate people 😂😂😂

Anyways…the last Top Ten Tuesday for October is all about my favorite villains in anime! Because nothing screams Halloween more than Ghost Face from Scream. So let’s get to chillin and killin with these anime villains!

1. Tomura from Boku no Hero Academia

^Tomura’s demeanor just speaks to my soul.

2. Shogo from Psycho-Pass

^My favorite character in anime EVER.

3. Queen Nehelenia from Sailor Moon

^My favorite Arc in the Sailor Moon franchise.

4. Miach from <Harmony>

^Who doesn’t love a brilliant, intelligent, and manipulative antagonist? I know I do.

5. Tatsuhiko from Bungou Stray Dogs: DEAD APPLE

^If you haven’t seen Dead Apple yet what the hell are you waiting for?!

6. Death Gun from Sword Art Online: GGO

^Wish this Arc could have been fleshed out a little better because Death Gun was an amazing villain.

7. Light from Death Note

^Villains all have to come to an end eventually.

8. Fumito from Blood C

^One of the best characters you hate to love and love to hate.

9. Su Won from Yona of the Dawn

^Su Won is another one of those villains that I have a love hate relationship with.

10. Elsa from Re:Zero

^Sometimes you just need a hot lady who will rip your guts out and eat them ❤

I just realized how many guys are on this list compared to girls but that’s okay! It wouldn’t be called Top Ten Tuesday if I had more than ten choices XD That is going to wrap up my last Halloween-y post of the month! I had so much fun creating all of these post for you guys this year. Hopefully I’ll have more spooky ideas next year! Also I am bringing back Featured Creator Friday for the month of November. My first interview will be up this Friday so keep your peepers peeled for that my pandas. I hope you all have a fantastic and safe Halloween. See you guys next month 😉

Disclaimer: All imagery and photos come from searching for them on the internet. I have no claim or right to them. If I find any links I will always post them (this usually entails fan art or any other work affiliated with an artist).

You know…coming up with Halloween themed anime post is harder than you would expect. Yes, there are a multitude of options to choose from but I feel like most of them have be done before in some way, shape, or form. I’m trying to write stuff that I haven’t done the previous year and boy oh boy…I’m having a tough time wracking my brain for what I want to write. But I did come up with this post (as you can tell from the title) so my brain can’t be that useless after all!

Today’s Top Ten Tuesday post is all about the crazies. Some of these girls might be yandere’s and others might just display crazy tendencies. Whatever the case these ladies are here to chop you up into little bits and pieces before Halloween ends. Okay, okay…not all of these ladies are cold blooded killers, but I’m sure if they were given the opportunity they wouldn’t hesitate to kill you in your sleep XD

Let’s just get to the damn list already 😛

1. Tanya from Youjo Senki

^The very definition of psycho loli.

2. Kurumi from Date A Live

^She cute, she attac, she eat you for a snacc.

3. Minatsuki (AKA Hummingbird) from Deadman Wonderland

^She undoubtedly holds her crazy in pretty damn well until just the right moment.

4. Misa Misa from Death Note

^Misa knows how to use her looks and her status as a model to her advantage.

5. Yuno from Mirai Nikki

^I mean…who wouldn’t expect Queen Yuno to be on this list? lololz

6. Mikasa from Attack on Titan

^We all know that Mikasa is low-key yandere.

7. Medusa from Soul Eater

^I wonder if I’ll ever get around to finishing Soul Eater? Hmmmm…🤔

8. Lucy from Elfen Lied

^Lucy is like night and day.

9. Rize from Tokyo Ghoul

^Would love to see an OVA of how Rize became a binge eater in Tokyo Ghoul ❤

10. Mana from Guilty Crown

^When your sadistic and in love with your own brother and try to destroy the world all in a days work. (It was longer than a day but you get what I’m saying)

Oh how I love my crazy girls. I totes need to get a shirt that says “yandere” on it. Honestly, out of all the “-dere” types I would definitely want to be a yandere if I was an anime character. Probably because I am easy going in real life and I don’t get pissed off that easily (okay…maybe sometimes but not like some of the ladies I mentioned above). That’s my question to you guys today! What “-dere” would you be if you were made into an anime character? Let me know in the comments section below. Also one last reminder! The cut off for October’s Jon Creator’s Showcase is a few short days away (October 25th to be exact). Be sure to find my original tweet on Twitter to post your work so I can add it to the post and use the hastag #jonscreatorshowcase as well! That is it for me tonight. I’ll catch you guys in my next post! Muah! XOXO

(Note: This post was written in October of 2017. I thought I would re-share it with all of you since my following has gone up. I also added number 6 to this list because Mary and the Witches Flower finally came out not too long ago. I am currently working on getting some interviews set up with other content creators so I can bring back Featured Creator Friday! I’m really looking forward to sharing these interviews very very soon. Get excited and stay tuned my pandas!)

We are just days away from Halloween and I AM SO FREAKING EXCITED I DON’T THINK I CAN KEEP MY PANTS ON!!! Well…I am not really wearing pants right now since I am still in my pajamas…but that’s besides the point. Today will probably be the last post I make before Halloween. I am going down to see my family tomorrow and won’t be back till either late Monday or Tuesday morning. So I hope you guys will be satisfied with today’s content!

We are getting witchy!

Today I am going to go over my favorite anime series that contain…you guessed it…WITCHES! I figured this was an appropriate theme for our Halloween festivities. Also I already did a list of horror/thriller anime earlier this month…so I wanted to spice things up a bit and do something different! You can check that post out here if you are needing recommendations for this weekend to get you in a spooky or creepy mood: https://kawaiipaperpandas.wordpress.com/2017/10/03/ttt-top-ten-tuesday-i-would-make-a-skeleton-joke-but-you-wouldnt-find-it-very-humerus/

1. Flying Witch

Anime synopsis:

“In the witches’ tradition, when a practitioner turns 15, they must become independent and leave their home to study witchcraft. Makoto Kowata is one such apprentice witch who leaves her parents’ home in Yokohama in pursuit of knowledge and training. Along with her companion Chito, a black cat familiar, they embark on a journey to Aomori, a region favored by witches due to its abundance of nature and affinity with magic. They begin their new life by living with Makoto’s second cousins, Kei Kuramoto and his little sister Chinatsu.

While Makoto may seem to be attending high school like any other teenager, her whimsical and eccentric involvement with witchcraft sets her apart from others her age. From her encounter with an anthropomorphic dog fortune teller to the peculiar magic training she receives from her older sister Akane, Makoto’s peaceful everyday life is filled with the idiosyncrasies of witchcraft that she shares with her friends and family.”

2. Junketsu no Maria (Maria the Virgin Witch)

Anime synopsis:

“Maria is a powerful young witch living with her two familiars in medieval France during the Hundred Years’ War against England. As the war rages on and the innocent get caught in its destruction, Maria becomes fed up with the situation and begins using her magic to try and prevent further conflict in hopes of maintaining peace. However, her constant intervention soon attracts the attention of the heavens, and the archangel Michael is sent to keep her from meddling in human affairs. The divine being confronts Maria, and he forbids her from using her powers, issuing a decree that her magic will be taken if she loses her virginity. Though she is now labeled a heretic, Maria adamantly refuses to heed Michael’s warning and continues to disrupt the war between the two nations. But as the Church begins plotting to take away the witch’s power and put a stop to Maria’s interference once and for all, her peacemaking may soon come to an end.”

3. Shuumatsu no Izetta (Izetta: The Last Witch)

Anime synopsis:

“In 1939 C.E., the imperialist nation of Germania invaded a neighboring country. All at once, that war spread throughout Europe, and the era was dragged into a spiral of a great war.

Then, in 1940, Germania’s attack turned towards the Principality of Elystadt, a small Alpine country abundant with beautiful water and greenery.”

4. Kiki’s Delivery Service

Anime synopsis:

“Kiki, a 13-year-old witch-in-training, must spend a year living on her own in a distant town in order to become a full-fledged witch. Leaving her family and friends, Kiki undertakes this tradition when she flies out into the open world atop her broomstick with her black cat Jiji.

As she settles down in the coastal town of Koriko, Kiki struggles to adapt and ends up wandering the streets with no place to stay—until she encounters Osono, who offers Kiki boarding in exchange for making deliveries for her small bakery. Before long, Kiki decides to open her own courier service by broomstick, beginning her journey to independence. In attempting to find her place among the townsfolk, Kiki brings with her exciting new experiences and comes to understand the true meaning of responsibility.”

5. Little Witch Academia

Anime synopsis:

“In a time when magic is on the decline amid society, Atsuko Kagari is a cheerful girl who enters Luna Nova Academy in order to accomplish her dream of becoming a witch like her idol, Shiny Chariot. Shiny Chariot is a famous witch who disappeared from public view many years ago. On her way to school, Kagari meets the kind Lotte Yanson and the mischevious Sucy Manbavaran and the three become friends as they share a bedroom in campus. At the academy, Atsuko soon discovers she is in serious disadvantage compared to the other girls since she doesn`t come from a magical family and is required to learn the magical curriculum from scratch. Having found an item that once belonged to Chariot, Atsuko must discover how to activate and properly use the mysterious Shiny Rod as she hopes it might lead to finding out what has truly happened to her vanished idol.”

6. Mary and the Witches Flower

Anime synopsis:

“It is Tib the black cat who leads Mary to the strange flower in the woods. When she discovers a little broomstick shortly afterwards, she is astonished to feel it jump into action. Before she can gather her wits, it is whisking her over the treetops, above the clouds, and into the grounds of Endor College, where: “All Examinations Coached for by A Competent Staff of Fully-Qualified Witches.”

Here she discovers evidence of a terrible experiment in transformation—deformed and mutant animals imprisoned in cages. In the moment after her broomstick takes off, she realizes that Tib has been captured. Returning to the College the following day, she manages to free the animals, but not before the Head of the college, Miss Mumblechuuk, and her colleague, Doctor D, have seen her. Mary manages to flee…but the evil pair is in hot pursuit!”

There are several more witchy anime out there but I haven’t seen them yet! I have seen a few episodes of Soul Eater and Soul Eater Not! so I would recommend those if you are looking to get into the festive spirit. I have also heard good things about Yamada-kun to Nananin no Majo (Yamada-kun and the Seven Witches), Madoka Magica, and Witch Craft Works. Maybe I should check these ones out sometime soon!

Any other witchy anime you guys would recommend that didn’t make this list? I always enjoy hearing what you all have to say! Let me know in the comments section below.  I will catch you guys back here for my next post. Cheers! 😀

We have finally made it to the best month of the year…OCTOBER! Yeah…that’s right…I said it. OCTOBER IS THE BEST MONTH OF THE YEAR and you can’t change my mind. That is my inner basic bitch talking. You know…the one who loves all things warm and cozy and pumpkiny. Yup! That’s the one.

If you don’t like all things spooky and witchy and fun you can just leave this post now…cause ain’t nobody got time for that! We want to make the most of autumn here on this blog. And no, I will not stop talking about my love for fall or pumpkin spice breves anytime soon…well until the end of the month at least 😉

For this Top Ten Tuesday I am here to bring you guys my favorite demon characters in anime! I know Raistlin had mentioned he wanted to see me write about this post a few weeks back so I am here to deliver! Plus demons fit into the Halloween scheme quite well if I do say so myself. I also wrote an in-depth blog post last year going over what demons are and what they symbolize in different context (i.e. literature and other forms of media). You can check that post out here: https://kawaiipaperpandas.wordpress.com/2017/08/04/fantasy-friday-do-you-like-girls-who-are-horny-well-so-do-i/
